How are you telling your story? Learn how you can use multimedia tools to enhance the promotion of yourself or an organization. Digital stories combine photographs, video, sound, music, text, and often a narrative voice. This class will introduce students to digital storytelling techniques and resources along with the impact of video on social media.

This course will build on the foundations of digital storytelling that were taught in the Digital Storytelling/Video Marketing course. Students can expect to build short videos, PSA’s, or digital stories. Students should bring their own videos, still images, and music/audio of choice. The stories will be built using Windows Movie Maker. Voice overs may be recorded during class using a cell phone.

It has an easy to use drag-and-drop interface and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts. It is used by non-designers as well as professionals. Join Tricia White for an interactive session using Canva to create amazing graphic images. We will discuss the use of the website and create a social media graphic and banner.
